Rhode Island & Massachusetts Digital Session Laws Back to Inception!

In August, we completed the back files of the digital session laws for Massachusetts and Rhode Island, making each available back to their inception date. With the addition of the back files for these two states, we now have twelve U.S. states and the Acts of the Parliament of Canada and the Acts of the Parliament of Australia available back to inception. The other ten states are California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.Coverage for the remaining U.S. states and jurisdictions is currently back to at least 1980, and we are taking various states back even further.

This month Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Bahamas, Connecticut, and New Jersey were taken back additional years.  View this month's complete list of content updates to see the added coverage for these states.  The goal is to take every state back to inception, and by the end of this year, we plan to have Connecticut, New Jersey and Utah back to inception!

Full MARC Catalog Records for World Constitutions Illustrated!

1,775 full MARC21 catalog records for only $1,079.00?
What about $225.00?
It is possible - just by saying "yes"!

HeinOnline has partnered with Cassidy Cataloguing who is offering full-MARC21 catalog records for World Constitutions Illustrated! Cataloging has already begun on these MARC21 records, which follow Provider-Neutral guidelines. Records are being created for the constitutions, books and periodicals, as well as all the websites and other electronic resources in this library,  such as "Country Reports on Human Rights Practices" and "ConstitutionMaking.org."

The pricing model for this collection will follow a structure based on the level of interest in the set. For example, if 101 libraries say "yes" to having these catalog records, the price for 1,775 records will only be $1,079.00! (That's about $.60 per record!) However, if 600 libraries say "yes" the price drops to only $225.00 per library! Click here to view a detailed pricing schedule

HeinOnline Enhancement: Faceted Searching Expanded to more Libraries!

Faceted Searching now available in the following libraries:
  • Kluwer Law Journals
  • Bar Journals
This past month, we added faceted searching to two additional HeinOnline Libraries: Kluwer Law International Journals and Bar Journals. These libraries offer cross-library searching which means you will get search results from both libraries when you run a search in either one, provided the results are relevant to your search terms. To make it easier to interpret and navigate these results, we have added faceted searching, which will allow you to quickly narrow a results set by section type, title, date, country published or state published.
