Now Available: History of Bankruptcy, Taxation and Economic Reform in America, Part III

In 2009, we introduced Parts I and II of the Taxation and Economic Reform in America archive. Now, we are pleased to announce that the History of Bankruptcy: Taxation and Economic Reform in America, Part III  is available in HeinOnline as an a-la-carte library.

This new library includes more than 135,000 pages of legislative histories, treatises, documents and more, all related to bankruptcy law in America. Also included are classic books dating back to the late 1800s and links to scholarly articles related to the study of bankruptcy in America.

The framework for this library is based on our concept of a new legal research platform, bringing together legislative history documents, books, and links to scholarly articles all in one database.

History of Bankruptcy, Taxation and Economic Reform in America, Part III is separate from the Taxation and Economic Reform in America, Parts I and II, and therefore is presented as a stand-alone library in HeinOnline.Though presented in its own library, it will include much of the same functionality as parts I and II of the Taxation and Economic Reform in America archive, such as the ability to:

  •  Browse by public law number or popular name
  •  Link to Nancy Johnson's Sources of Compiled Legislative History Database to view key metadata about a public law
  • Utilize Hein's ScholarCheck, allowing you to quickly navigate from a legislative history to the statute to supporting law review articles
When searching in HeinOnline's History of Bankruptcy, you can choose to include search results from the Federal Legislative History Library and the Taxation and Economic Reform in America Archive. This means you can search all the legislative histories at once! As is the case with cross library searching in the Law Journal Library, you can turn this option on or off by checking/un-checking the option from the search screen.

We have a variety of subscription options available, including an annual subscription option and the option to purchase perpetual access which includes digital ownership. Core HeinOnline Subscribers can take advantage of special savings.

Plus, subscribers to Taxation and Economic Reform in America, Parts I and II can save 10% off the first year of an annual subscription or 10% off the perpetual access with digital ownership purchase price.
