Looking up public laws in HeinOnline's Statutes at Large has become faster, and simpler. The Citation Navigator tab in the U.S. Statutes at Large library now contains a tool that allows users to quickly enter, and jump to the public law they are searching for.
Finding a public law using the new tool is easy. To accommodate the different formats used over the years to cite public laws, the tool is split into two parts.
The top section can find laws using the naming method used by the 57th Congress to present(ex: 87-5 or Chapter 1, 57 Congress), while the bottom section can find laws using the naming method used by the 1st-56th Congresses.
We've created a short video showing how this new tool functions.
