HeinOnline's Tip of the Week: Blue Book Citation Lookup

Did you know that there are currently 1224 titles in HeinOnline's Law Journal library? Add that to all of the the title changes that have occurred through the years, and you end up with 1640 different Blue Book citations that you could possibly use in the library. Here at HeinOnline we understand that keeping track of all those citations can be a daunting task. That's why we've developed a new Blue Book citation lookup tool.

To use this feature, you first need to enter the Law Journals Library, or one of the Law Journals Sub-Libraries. Next, click on the 'Citation Navigator' tab located near the top of the page. In the Citation Navigator tab, you will see a link that reads "Find Blue Book Citation". Click this link.

You will now see a list of all of the titles available in the library, along with the citation(s) associated with that title. Clicking the letters listed across the top of the screen will quickly jump you to the titles that begin with that letter.

Clicking a title in this list presents the option to fill in the volume and page number of the citation you are looking for.

This is another example of how we are continually working to make HeinOnline a better tool for our users. Please let us know what you think about this enhancement, or anything else in HeinOnline by clicking the feedback button located at the top of your HeinOnline screen.
